The Partners MS Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital serves as a vibrant hub of cross-disciplinary research and patient care that joins world-renowned experts focused on multiple sclerosis (MS). The director of the Center, Howard Weiner, MD, has been involved in every aspect of the fight to understand and treat MS - participating in clinical trials, performing the first plasma exchange on a patient, developing a new treatment using chemotherapy, and creating combination therapies. Dr. Weiner leads a team of over 150 clinicians, researchers, medical residents, and fellows who work collaboratively to advance our understanding of multiple sclerosis and deliver the best patient care possible. Dedicated to the discovery of new therapies, the Center’s clinicians and scientists are at the forefront of imaging, immunologic, and therapeutic research.
